I meant a window in the living room. Ugly walls from the neighbor only bother you for the first 2 years. After that, the wisteria or whatever is planted there and it looks wonderful.

In front of the terrace window there is a wall or tall cabinets planned, isn’t there?

Exactly, out from the kitchen... what do you mean by pantry?

Regarding the passage next to the "wall stub," it doesn't need to be particularly large; there is another place for kitchen storage there, and the dining table and bench come directly up to the partition wall, so a bit further to the right. That way, it also feels more spacious. Or would you generally make it wider?

About the original plan for the upper floor bathroom, okay, but the toilet would need to be planned differently.

With "Speis" the pantry is meant, so the extra part you planned above the kitchen.
So definitely have the door open the other way, otherwise you will always be slaloming around the door.

It’s best if you start going into more detail with the kitchen planning NOW. Don’t start too late.
There are helpful forums for that, for example.
Once the windows, connections, and walls are built, it’s too late.

Ok, but my sofa is planned there, what kind of window would you want to have, a floor-to-ceiling one, in the middle, would the structural engineering then need to be corrected?

I basically have a southwest terrace, do you mean the window in the west or south? Next to it, there are basically 3 tall cabinets, the light would have to come from the west.

ahhhhhhh, exactly. Initially, there was a wider floor-to-ceiling window planned; if the door were to open inward, it would have been tight because of the corner of the second placement area, so the window was made smaller. However, I was not suggested that the door hinge should be different. Sorry, but I didn't come up with that myself. Why didn't the architect suggest that to me, is that unusual?!
If it is definitely as you say, then I would take a wider window so that it's even brighter at this spot.

The kitchen planning is done, I think it is very good, and my wife also likes it a lot.

May I see the kitchen planning (I already have some experience with it). On the floor plan, it certainly looks to me as if the cooktop and sink are too close together for good working... gladly via PM
