Is the third child supposed to get the room on the ground floor?
I don't find the dressing room/bedroom situation optimal. I would probably reduce the dressing room/bedroom to favor a larger bathroom (no one needs that much space for sleeping).
As the layout is now, the bedroom would have to be on the sunny side, meaning south, southwest, or southeast, and one child's room in the north. I wouldn't do it that way either. Since the design is square, it is unfortunately not clear how the house sits on the plot, but I assume the living area is not supposed to face north.
Overall: well, standard design. So why do you want to hire an architect then? A general contractor can do that too... Well, if I think about the standard design that said architect delivered for the three-family house, then maybe it fits.
The bedroom on the ground floor is supposed to serve as a guest or office room for now... My son might then have his room in the attic.
We still have a bit of leeway, but at the moment the living area would be on the north because otherwise there is no transition to the garden... as I understood it... so it was like that with the three-family house... probably different now? We are considering building the property further back; the plot is wider there and the living area would face south, but this still has to be clarified with the building authority.
Regarding the architect: hm, hard to judge... let's see what comes out in the end, personally we get along great with him and that was
erst mal important to us.
