Exterior dimensions 9.4 x 11.2m without bay window. Unfortunately, it does not show me the square meters or shows them incorrectly.

The kitchen has an open passage. Of course, you can plan a door in, however you like. The kitchen is over 12m². But maybe that’s still too small for you. Would a completely open concept be an option?

Quickly making something bigger or smaller usually results in a mess. Better to start over. You don’t have to take the first thing and “classic” might be a bit too conventional in this case. However, I’m into it, especially the mega entrance with elegant stairs.

What do you want with an even bigger bedroom?

- My wife reconsidered and definitely wants a 100% "open kitchen." The cooking videos are mostly filmed in the morning anyway, when the kids aren’t around. Are my 12m² too small for a show kitchen???

- A large bedroom isn’t necessarily required; she just doesn’t want a separate dressing room yet, we still need to discuss that. Wouldn’t that mean losing space or could it alternatively be used for something else?

But the first impression ... wow!!!

a consideration for the future (if it goes well):

- an outdoor kitchen, events are also supposed to take place there.

Well, if you tear down the wall, you can very nicely place a 2m kitchen island.

That’s not possible in the closed kitchen.

You have to decide for yourselves about the dressing room. In this case, I wouldn’t redesign – this is, so to speak, a little gem of the cake. Rather start completely from scratch.

The question is above all what it costs. With a bit of luck, a normal hipped roof will suffice, although there wouldn’t be an eaves over the bay windows. But bay windows cost.

Roof shape: consideration is a hip roof

Next step: I would like to go to my architect with the modified draft from .

Question again: could something still be optimized?

Thanks to everyone (really all of you, also ), especially to !!!

One can certainly always optimize something everywhere. One is a placeholder for everyone who wants to see themselves individually in it.
