Your priorities are all well and good, but the dead corner next to the sink in the bathroom—I would always leave that to you as the planner of the debacle when it comes to cleaning.

Why? That’s not true at all:

I like the floor plan that Katja attached again in post 151 better. Your criteria for the shower are met there, and additionally you gain more storage space in the dressing room. Furthermore, in your design the access to the shower is very narrow. One should keep in mind that one might still live there at an old age and create such accesses in a width that even allows passing with a walker.

You are calculating with incorrect cabinet depths. Since these are rough construction measurements, I would always refer to Ikea Pax with sliding door. These are 66 cm and therefore everywhere cabinets are to be placed, 70 cm should be planned as the rough construction measurement.

Dressing room, bedroom and child 1 do not take this into account.

As I said, I don't see a dead corner in my original plan. Provided the bathtub could also go to the other side.

But then will you always come and clean the mold out of the window crevices?
I don't want the window in the wet area. It would also have to be frosted glass if not every pedestrian should see my girlfriend's breasts.
That would look weird from the front view if one window is frosted, I think.

I've thought about that too, but on the one hand, we have a staircase in the house, and on the other hand, if we reach the walker age in 30-40 years, the bathroom will be renovated anyway.

We wanted to place the cabinets L-shaped on only 2 walls so that there is still enough space for changing inside.

We have a window in the shower in another house and have no problems with it. But maybe that's luck? No idea. Why is no one allowed to see them?

I think the design by kaho is nice. The toilet would not be directly in the line of sight.
