For a first draft, quite good already.

The ground floor is basically well zoned, however the area
- Dining is very close to the living area. This restricts the choice of seating furniture in the living area. The wall panel to the west is also disturbing for dining and the sight lines, as well as the seating position in the passage area to the kitchen.
- Living is very far from the window surface, making it difficult to create a connection to the outside. Another window to the south should be planned despite the distance, together with loose, light planting.

The upper floor is somewhat inconsistent. A separate parents' area is good, but then please also a separate children's bathroom. The bathroom on the ground floor is located behind the entrance area in the public zone and also serves possible guests, which is unpleasant for children. And a bathroom with two doors is always a makeshift solution.
The space on the upper floor is also somewhat tight. The dressing room with 1.6 m minus plaster, sliding door and wardrobes is only a closet room; comfortable dressing requires more space. The bathroom, at 2.3 m wide, is clearly too narrow. As a passage and movement width, about 70 cm remain with compact elements, please not in a new building.

I am curious to see how it will continue.

Hello, I like the design itself. Nevertheless, I find the dining area to be too narrow and obstructive for access to the living area. There is actually no space for the dining area. There would need to be more space for that. Upstairs, I don’t like the indirect access to the bedroom, but that is a matter of taste. Besides, I find the exterior view of the rectangle/cube to look too static. Shifting building components (perhaps here north/south) can visually enhance it.

Hello Wanderdüne,

thank you for your suggestions:
- we now also have the proximity of the dining and living areas in our apartment. We do not find it disturbing or limiting.
- we will definitely reconsider the windows on the ground floor

- the upper floor is sufficient for us as it is. We consciously decided against a children's bathroom. (What happens to it when the children leave the house? Then we would have three bathrooms) But of course, this is also a matter of taste and almost a philosophical question ;) ... The dressing room as a wardrobe is actually enough for us, we will take up the note about the bathroom width and make it a few centimeters wider. (Our current bathroom is 2.4 m wide, with a similar layout to the floor plan. It offers enough space.)

Thank you very much for the assessments
Best regards

Hello ypg, the indirect access is something we like. (As you already wrote: matter of taste ;) ) We will definitely rethink the living/dining area. Regarding your concerns about the exterior appearance: The cube may seem very rigid at first. I wouldn’t shift the components for cost reasons. However, there are other ways to loosen up the facade. We have already looked at quite a few options. On the one hand, you can do something with the color scheme, on the other hand, for example, also frame the windows outward,... We will surely come up with something. :) But thanks for the hint, such things can easily be overlooked. Best regards

Our bathroom is 2.44 m wide and with a total of 8.85 sqm quite compact. However, a 120x90 shower and an 80x1.80 bathtub fit into our bathroom. When the sanitary fixtures are well positioned, it is not cramped at all.

Statements like "you can't do that in a new building" are too general in my opinion. Sometimes it is not possible otherwise without enlarging the house.

I find the floor plan successful, although the utility room also seems a bit small to me. We have 12.5 sqm and everything just fits in. On the other hand, I find the office/guest room too large. It is even bigger than the children's rooms.
