The utility room is too far away from the kitchen. With so many people, a second bathroom with a shower is missing. Overall, it is very convoluted. There are many very good floor plans with four bedrooms and an office. I would file this design away.

I would also recommend a second shower.

Otherwise, there are too many corners and projections and recesses for my taste.

I agree with the previous writers, too many corners on the upper and ground floors, lack of wardrobe space, missing second bathroom and I add .. the walk-in closet offers space mainly for a 400 cm wardrobe, the bed situation in the master bedroom would be too tight on the window side for me.

Then there is also the question of the site plan (garage/parking space etc.) and a north arrow on the floor plan drawing.

Wow.. first of all, thanks for the many messages.
I have to say that it sounds quite sobering, but I want to take the criticism on board.

: Regarding another shower. We resisted it for a long time because we don’t know it any other way with our families (4 or 5 people), but our opinion has increasingly changed. We are trying to include it or at least already create connections for another shower (possibly in the downstairs WC).

: Dressing room: What do you mean by trapped room? What do you imagine differently there? The dressing area as a passage room to the bedroom? We partly see the mini corners the same way, but some are unavoidable or even desired to install a wardrobe.

: Thanks for the hint. I summarized it in the first comment.

: I would be very interested in your floor plan, could you post it or send it to me?
Kitchen: We don’t feel the way to the utility room is too far... It is more important for us to have a side access to the utility room. Also, we find the kitchen large enough to stock a certain amount of groceries.
Angular rooms: See comment two.
Stairs: In the first draft we had a half-turned U-staircase. We didn’t like it at first, but it has increasingly become our favorite.

: What details do you miss: It would be nice if you could be more specific.
Bathroom: you find almost 16 m² too small. In the houses we have seen so far, the rooms were smaller and we already found the rooms big enough.
Kitchen/dining and living area: Specific suggestions here would be great.
Symmetry in front: Will come, the two windows on the left side will each be replaced by one window as on the right side.
We want to keep it exactly as square as possible. We do not plan a terrace directly at the house.

: If you have great floor plans, please send them to me once. I haven’t found anything great.

: Thanks for the hints. I have already addressed them.

: Thanks again for your comment here as well. I have already addressed most of the points.
Wardrobe: May possibly change with a different staircase.
Bedroom: I will recalculate again.
Dressing room: We will install only one window in that room, so there will be more space for wardrobes.

So I hope I have done justice to everyone and look forward to your answers.
Have a nice Pentecost.

Regards Spock
