I'm afraid this will be a financial disaster. You want so many rooms - that's not feasible with 130m². So now it's already 150m² but the money isn't enough for that. I think you need to drastically reduce your demands. A dressing room is not necessary and an office is a luxury at this house size.

You don't want to talk about money but maybe now you realize how closely the floor plan is tied to the budget?! I see it dark and hope you keep an overview. Numbers mentioned by an architect are not binding. He is not liable if it gets more expensive - on the contrary.

So I have to say now that the 24k earnings were relatively unexpected and have exceeded the budget. But as also stated in the calculation, an additional 20k equity can still be added.

So the shower drain costs 100 € material and the installation nothing because I have trained as a plumber. A standard Villeroy & Boch bathtub costs just under 400 € Electricity and plastering are done in the "Saarland way". The exterior work will then be done afterwards. And it is true that the bed has to be rotated.

I also live and build in Saarland but I would rather distance myself from something like that. It has nothing to do with the federal state or "building is cheaper with us". That is simply "nice accounting". The regional differences are not as big as many always think. Only DIY can make a big difference. But then you also have to be fair and consider the work involved in your calculation.

I had already seen this plan but it just doesn’t fit.

In the meantime, we have also planned the bathroom and toilet. The shower will of course be tiled but that was not possible in the Villeroy & Boch bathroom planner. The wall of the shower partition might also be extended a bit further out. The shower head will also be placed on the back wall.

The building application will be submitted in 2 weeks.
