well, like others, I wondered how someone can so willingly lay out their life day after day, week after week, month after month in a forum. I can somewhat understand it if it’s a single person, 20+, who just moved out of their parents’ house and has no idea how the world outside works. Even if the general WWW didn’t exist, where you can look up every crap a thousand times as long as you can distinguish good from bad, I assume that someone who earns their money with the Inet is capable of making decisions for themselves and doesn’t need a horde of individuals who happen to be registered in the forum to make a decision.
But probably that’s exactly where the “problem” lies: if you sit at home for work every day, you lack real face-to-face contact to exchange ideas, so a forum is the replacement. I think Kati also once wrote that her circle of friends where she lives now is limited. I imagine this professional isolation is very difficult for years.
