Ugh, that's annoying. :( I really feel for you. If they're owners, you can only get so far with the police anyway. We once had a situation like that in a rental apartment; the stereo was just turned up again every time the police left. :/

We have included costs for outdoor facilities and the terrace in the overall calculation. I should have mentioned somewhere in the initial post that the price indication is not to be understood as applying to the whole project.

Edit: Office on another floor is not an option. We work continuously from home. Our daily paths constantly go back and forth between the kitchen and the office, I’m not going to walk up or down a staircase for every coffee and every banana. Office and living belong together for us.

My office is on the 2nd floor and I’m glad if I have a reason to take a few steps down to the ground floor to get something from the kitchen. That way you get away from the screen for a bit. It wasn’t any different "back then" in the company office. To get to the coffee machine or the meeting rooms, I had to cover two floors. None of my colleagues have ever praised the short distances at home as an advantage compared to me. It is actually more of a disadvantage, because during the workday you simply work even more and take fewer breaks.

I know your outdoor system wasn't involved. It was just a note. We have no path through the old retaining wall. We use the public stairs next door or go through the house or drive around and approach from above. Not so optimal. And yes, everything is more expensive than on the plot.
