I might not like the house interior. But it doesn't have to be. Everything is so tight. Shower bath is tight, living room with 3.55 is a fight size, bedroom with RBM of 3.23 really tight on the bed sides. A wardrobe is also needed for 2 people, kitchen-dining area action is stopped by the stairs. Even from the fairly spacious bathroom, more could be made (bathtub here drawn as a small tub without shelves, although it is supposed to represent a whirlpool?)

I will look at everything again. The connection kitchen-"dining area" is not important to me.

Do you have to build two-story or is that just your wish? Your age with all due respect: we are also over 50/60, but if we had been allowed, we would definitely have built a bungalow under 50/60.

Two-story is our wish, we find the plot/building window too small for a bungalow, and besides, we would have to get closer to the neighbors, which we don't like for various reasons.

what was the idea behind the kitchen planning? You can decouple it from the living/dining area for various reasons, but the distance between the kitchen and the dining table corresponds to another constituency in proportion.

There is no real kitchen planning yet because I don't find the kitchen so important. I want as few kitchen furniture as possible. I prefer it when you enter a kitchen and don't immediately see that the room is a kitchen. For this reason, I also don't want a sink under the window or a kitchen island in the middle of the room. I prefer if you first see a beautiful plant or a picture, to which the kitchen utensils are subordinate.

I have never seen discouragement rewarded with asymmetry and actually hoped, after our conversations about brackets & co, that you would like to build a nice house :-(

I find the house in the photo after the questionnaire beautiful and hope to approximate it or copy it. Just without the gable. Could you please write to me what I have to do differently here, based on the architectural plans?

Putting a pointed hat on a KfW cube and flanking it with boldly offset arranged carports in solarium style now hits my wildest dreams in the pit of my stomach. That with so few different basic shapes you can still almost turn the corner to McMansionHell: *irony_on* Chapeau! *irony_off*

*giggle* Yes, you’re right. The pointed hat will be changed and I also agree with you regarding the association with solarium loungers. I am looking for a different solution for this. "Actually," I want to design the car accommodation so that it is perceived as not belonging to the house. So wrapped in lots of greenery and bushes. I find garages and carports rarely beautify a property/house unless you invest a lot of money. Most of the time they look like appendages, which I don’t like.

What is still salvageable then?

We can still change some things if we feel it’s necessary. The roof, for example.

That is clearly too steep, useless and unnecessary. In the following example, you can see my explanation for the picture in the opening post of the same thread, I would take the proven 22° (which is still very visible).
