The two carports are cheaper than a garage. And apart from that, I don't find garages very pretty. (I know how that sounds, but that's just how I am.) My idea was that the house sits like a blossom in the middle of the two carports, and the carports open like petals on the left and right. Considering the dimensions, I probably had wrong ideas. In my mind, it looked different.

If mobility impaired is planned, it seems one cannot get into the shower on the ground floor with a walking aid because of the toilet.

Kitchen too far from the table.

Television?

Little space in the living room, maybe one less double door.

Where will the wardrobe go? How much length do you have now and do you need in the new house?

OK, that’s just how it is. The two carports each cost 2825 euros at Obi without foundation and delivery. The foundation of the special one-sided supported carport is also not to be underestimated. A double carport is already structurally better to evaluate.

One is not supposed to be mobility-impaired in this house anyway.

I may not like the interior of the house. But it doesn’t have to be. Everything is so cramped. The shower bathroom is tight, the living room with 3.55 is a tight measurement, the bedroom with an RBM of 3.23 is really tight on the bed sides. Two people also need a wardrobe, the kitchen-dining area action is stopped by the stairs. Even in the fairly generous bathroom, more could be done (bathtub here drawn as a small tub without shelves, although it’s supposed to represent a whirlpool?). Do you have to build two stories or is that just your wish? Your age with all due respect: we are also over 50/60, but if we had been allowed, we definitely would have built a bungalow under 50/60.

I have never seen discouragement rewarded with asymmetry and, after our conversations about Faschen & Co, actually hoped you would like to build a nice house :-(
Putting a pointed hat on a KfW cube and flanking it with boldly offset carports in solarium style now hits my wildest dreams right in the gut. That with so few different basic shapes you almost still manage to avoid McMansionHell: *Irony_on* Chapeau! *Irony_off*

What is even salvageable then?

That is clearly too pointed, useless and unnecessary. In the following example you can see my explanation to the picture in the opening post of the same thread; I would take the proven 22° (which is still very visible).
