House and floor plan planning - First architect's plan is available

We need to think about this longer. Regarding the double carport in the north, I have to try to imagine how two carports next to each other will look. As mentioned above, I had thought so far that the two arch-shaped carports would look like two petals with the house in the middle, but now they are too "meager" or the house is too big. My idea doesn’t fit.

Then just enter carport in Google. Then the double one will come up as well.

Hello, the house definitely has plenty of space for 2! One idea would be to swap the bedroom and Study 1, then the path to the bathroom is not so far.
Otherwise, has given good tips. Especially the missing passage from the kitchen to the dining room is noticeable.

I do not want a passage because I prefer not to be watched in the kitchen. Through the passage, guests or my husband would probably always look through. I like separate and clearly divided areas when it comes to areas where I don’t "shine".

In probably no more than 20 years, we will move into a bungalow or assisted living.

The distance from the kitchen to the dining table would be far too long for me, and even further to the terrace. Properly plan the kitchen. Possibly swap the kitchen and living room. The bedroom is too narrow, because there are only about 60cm between the wall and the bed. Drainage of the bathroom could become interesting if the dining area is below. Overall, I would rather make a rectangular floor plan and this symmetry orgy would be absolutely not for me.

We live just the two of us and only eat at the dining table with guests. Usually, we read or play at the dining table. As for eating, unfortunately we are not very cultivated. Often we just eat an apple or a cheese sandwich on the go.

If mobility impaired is intended, it seems you can’t get into the shower on the ground floor with a walking aid because of the toilet.

The planning is for now, when neither of us is restricted yet. As soon as the restrictions occur, we will sell the house and move into a bungalow, assisted living, or a ground-floor apartment with a small garden. We had considered building the house to be disability-friendly but then decided against it.

That’s true. I chose the term "dining table" incorrectly. It’s more of a PC, reading, and playing table.

Unfortunately yes. A compromise due to marriage. We’ll find somewhere to hang it. If we couldn’t find a place, that would be nice.

That’s intentional. I prefer plants and pictures to furniture. We don’t have many pieces of furniture anyway.

Where will the wardrobe go? How much length do you have now and need in the new house?

I currently have 3.00 m of wardrobe, my husband 1.50 m. We will put the wardrobes in our respective rooms, which are labeled as "work." Apparently, there is no suitable designation for our rooms. It was only "work" or "guest." Neither applies.
