Oh, do you have a photo of that? Because we also have windowsills everywhere on the ground floor, which my husband thinks you could step on and I believe that "normal" windowsills are rather not intended to be stepped on and I want to remove them before the exterior plastering. It’s about 7 windowsills ... maybe I can still sell them after removal. ;-)

I knew that beforehand, namely all patio doors on the ground floor without thresholds. But apparently I communicated it incorrectly. I made no difference between patio doors and terrace doors because I was not aware of any.

In case the question refers to me: I would like sand-colored polygonal slabs, but made of concrete. So far, I have only found the desired slabs in natural stone and I am somewhat uncertain because of maintenance and sensitivity. I am still searching. It blows my mind that these slabs should not exist made of concrete; I always thought you could find everything on the internet. ;-)

It seems as if what I want has not existed anyway. That comforts me. :) I wanted threshold-free, but tiltable. :) I don’t like lift-and-slide doors.

Do not disturb the branches. The jay desperately tried to build a nest on the ridge beam last year. I do not have a clean, dry, without child and more windowsill at hand right now.

There isn’t really one in that sense. Most terrace doors are window doors; the difference is more between a standard threshold (bottom with window frame) and a flat threshold.

I would advise against that; flat threshold and tilt-and-turn is not a good combination. Traditionally, I would take the door closer to the middle of the room or wall (and the widest one) as the exit with a flat threshold, and the outer ones as tilt-and-turn (or one sash tilt-and-turn and one sash fixed, for right-handers the tilt-and-turn on the inside right).

Not only generally on the internet, but especially here: – and furthermore I recommend you an instruction, see

Great, the two links. I will take a detailed look and "think them through". That means, you also think that polygonal concrete slabs are not available for purchase? Thanks also for the tip about the "flat threshold". I can then extensively google and ask about that too. :)

I don’t know if you actually mean the expensive threshold-free windows
We were asked whether we wanted a step/exterior window sill or not. It was said that then we would have to lay up to the window, and that was then chosen, ordered, and executed by the landscaping contractor

Something like this (blue = classic door/tilt-and-turn, green = flat threshold door/door) as shown:
