Financing: How much did your house cost?

We had an extensive discussion about this once, why does the house have to cost as much if a property costs 600k?

But there are no outdoor facilities included yet, right? Compared to all the 1.2 million offers otherwise in the Munich district, that seems pretty cheap to me.

Outdoor facilities (terraces, fences, garage driveway, trees...) are NOT included. They were another 25k€ on top.

With the 1.2 million offers (usually from developers), the land is included. Prices here are around 2k€/sqm.

"used" houses too? 50,000DM (paid in installments), built around 1750, purchase date 1999. Plot 298m² (bordered on three sides). Estimated usable area certainly over 200m². Living area? Something around 130-140m². And probably bought too expensive in hindsight ;). Since then, an estimated 50-70K€ has been put in "bit by bit" (I never kept track). Still forgotten my own work: estimated 30-40K equivalent (or even more in the last 20 years)

No one claimed that, but unfortunately, prices for almost everything else are also significantly higher here because we are simply in an expensive area.
For example, our window company charges an hourly wage of €70 for installing the windows; I don't know if such hourly wages have to be paid outside the greater Munich area.

On the contrary, our house is much smaller/ lower quality than it would have been elsewhere in Germany because the land price already puts a huge strain on our loan.

Wow. Then I'll let my father-in-law retrain me and go on assignment in Bavaria....

KfW55, approx. 130 m², no basement.

Heating: underfloor heating, air heat pump, possibly photovoltaic with storage. Tiles in wet rooms, country house floorboards in the rest.
[*]Garage 4.5 m X 9 m. Gable roof approx. 36 m²
[*]Costs:
House construction approx. €260,000, garage approx. €35,000, incidental costs approx. €60,000, reserve €35,000
We assume total costs of €390,000.
[*]Plot (500 m²) is already available.
