Financing: How much did your house cost?

I find the topic very interesting, but I think it is even harder to compare than it already is when the land costs are included. Because these can probably vary the most. One person gets it for free, another pays 200,000€. That somewhat distorts the result.

Approx. half a million for 250 sqm of living space (excluding basement, total 300 sqm floor area) with upscale fittings, ancillary construction costs, and outdoor facilities. Kfw 70 with geothermal energy, fireplace, over 200 sqm of oak floorboards, three bathrooms, network + partial home automation, photovoltaic system, only floor-to-ceiling windows – also in the roof/knee wall etc.

I absolutely agree with you. However, it does make sense for people to realize that very few have put up a house with a total budget of 300k€ and also purchased the land. My land cost about 160k€ -> So 300k€ + 160k€ was the total. If the land had only cost 50k€, the house would probably have ended up at 350k€ - 400k€,...
