This is no longer possible even in the most remote farm village in Germany with 100% own labor. That is pretty much exactly €1000/m2. Material costs alone without any labor would not cover that. Such a house would also not meet any energy saving regulations in Germany. The materials would all have to be bought from the hardware store with special prices and be of the worst quality. I’d say garden shed.

You forgot that garage, basement, and furniture are also included in the price :)

I believe the land costs are charged separately. Still very cheap, but not 1000/m²

Really hard to imagine. But you can build very cheaply, for a few houses here something like this: - Rectangle - 24 cm Poroton - Rafter roof with wooden ceiling - simple 1.0x0.8m white plastic windows - straight simple wooden stringer staircase - painting, laminate in EL - shower tray and toilet in the hardware store don’t cost much - kitchen is also available for 1000€ - the most expensive thing then is the heating Whether you end up at 1000€/m² is still questionable, but if you don’t use the forum standard, maybe possible.

of course without land, simple rough calculation. 230k, of which ancillary building costs 30k, of which 5k kitchen / 176m2 = 1,100 euros / m². I also believe it's simply not feasible with the most basic equipment. Maybe no central heating, but a basic stove or something. Anyone who posts something like that should also write down the equipment, otherwise I find it doesn't reflect any added value for independent readers. That kind of thing annoys me.
