Financing: How much did your house cost?

Yes, it's true that personal contributions cost a lot of time/money, but how should one calculate or include them here? We have effectively borrowed 230k. We built in RLP near Bingen/Rhein.

Simply list as stated above (preferably with hours worked). Otherwise, it is not comparable at all...

That goes fast :D Since June 2019, with my wife every Friday, Saturday, Sunday at least 25 hours plus every holiday and vacation day until today. Now many will write, that’s not worth it or I would never do that. But since we both have rather low salaries, it was the only way for us to fulfill the dream of a house.

No, it's fine, I admire something like that. But it has to be stated so that everyone can assess it for themselves. Only in that context is the low house price to be understood. Because you have paid a large sum not with money, but with sweat (possibly also blood and tears?), muscle soreness, and free time.

Hehe blood, tears, sweat, and sore muscles all included :D Just yesterday carried 3 tons of tiles into the house ufff....

... before throwing out 230k€ here, you should write beforehand that a lot of personal contributions were provided. Then there would be no discussion. Everything else is unobjective and above all unhelpful in this thread.
