But don't hyperventilate when the offer arrives, it's usually five-figure. The air heat pump is actually the cheapest option for you, because if you are not offered an all-in-one device like Stiebel Eltron, the controlled residential ventilation will be an additional cost.

Today the offer arrived. In fact, the controlled residential ventilation has now been omitted. Buderus Logatherm WPL 8 AR is being offered to me. With this device, I can apparently get 2500 euros BAFA subsidy (one of the few where this is even possible). Since the controlled residential ventilation is now missing, the heating system costs around 7000 euros less. The 180L domestic hot water tank is also no longer listed; is it not needed or maybe integrated?

By the way, the 7.5kW building heating load refers to the heating system and would be what the heating can do at maximum.

I don’t know of any air-to-water heat pump that is subsidized. The annual performance factors are simply too poor across the board. Even the Stiebel Eltron 504 has been dropped, which was still eligible for subsidies two years ago and was the only device known to me as such.

Are you sure that it is currently eligible for subsidies or did your general contractor just tell you that?

On the Bafa page, eligible heating systems are listed, aren't they?

It may be that instead of a domestic hot water tank, you will now have to/need to heat with instantaneous water heaters at the consumption points.
