The longer I try and adjust, the more it resembles ’s version.
That was cute.
Here I have another one for you with a housewife’s wish in focus: "Kitchen on the left + dining table in the bay window," similar to the original draft.
Caution – the stairs here are not landing stairs! My program can’t do that. On the ground floor, they are quarter-turn stairs, and on the upper floor, half-turn stairs. The cabinets in the hallway are only meant to demonstrate the placement areas. Of course, it doesn’t have to be furnished exactly like that! Possibly, an entrance hall could be added – but nowadays these are only for decoration. You don’t need to block wind anymore – modern front doors are completely airtight.

On the upper floor, the layout doesn’t change much. You just have to be very careful that the planner can handle the bathroom’s wastewater disposal. That’s not easy since it has to be routed through the ceiling out of the living room. It’s possible but must be planned properly. The architect can also rack their brain over the window in the hallway. I would definitely put one in, even if it runs behind the stairs.

Knee wall at 1.30 m. Whether you can afford the gables is of course the main question. Also to what extent dormers would be possible – ask the architect.

Maybe add a few double casement windows.
Here’s the attic floor. You can furnish it yourself.
