I also clearly see the model railway for the children. Your room will then be the one where the lawn mower is.

I tinkered with my wife for a long time today. Of course, my floor plan had been changed too radically and was simply no longer "her floor plan." So we went back to our old floor plan. I hope it is at least somewhat better now ^^

I have been tinkering for a while now and still hope to have included most of it. You can give some feedback I make no claim to technical correctness by any means. Consider it an amateur work The external dimensions have remained the same. So 9.75m x 10m without the extension.

Kept the old floor plan mostly the same. I managed to move the staircase up a bit by pushing and pulling and thus also moved the kitchen. The table no longer fits lengthwise. Therefore, the extension is a bit wider and the table is placed sideways. The table is 2.50m long. To avoid the "station problem," I made the kitchen a bit wider and the living room hallway narrower to fit a door to the kitchen. The utility room is 0.5 sqm smaller but no longer has any staircase slope.

A lot has changed on the upper floor. By moving the stairs, I was able to completely reshuffle.

- Children's room facing south
- Master bedroom has a walk-in closet with one side having 1.3m wardrobes and the other side 2m wardrobes.
- Bathroom has become narrower and I had to modify it a bit. Not sure yet if I like it this way
- I would like to extend the addition upwards similar to this picture, but not centered, rather offset

- The walls of the children's rooms are not final, I just tried to make them roughly the same size -> but that is also the architect's job
- I am leaving out the dormers because of the raised extension and the 1.30m knee wall
- Alternatively, one could also dispense with the second floor of the extension to save money, the increased knee wall should be enough so I can omit the dormers, right?

- The stairs to the attic are not exactly under the ridge beam but still next to the 2m line (the two inner walls mark the area where there is 2m ceiling height, at least if Sweethome indicates it correctly)
- The outer walls mark the area that is 70cm high, as has already appeared in this thread

I am aware that there are probably still some mistakes. I assume that I probably have wrong values for the ceiling thicknesses and the attic is probably not as generous as it seems.

Good night everyone

I have not read the last 13 pages but you can just throw this floor plan in the trash.

If you could now also explain why it is rubbish, I would at least know where to start. As I said, I tried to save our first floor plan as much as possible, simply because my wife is very attached to it. I also understand that the layout of the rooms upstairs still has a lot of potential. But to be creative there we have an architect. My main goal was to find ideas, suggestions, to address the previous points of criticism (most of which I also had) - train station effect living room - stair situation - dormers - raise knee wall - closet situation master bedroom

The ground floor might still work, but you can't walk around the table when someone is sitting. Please furnish the bathroom downstairs once.

Those two slants upstairs in the kidizi have zero added value. The bathroom is too small, the passages are too narrow.

The bedroom bed is wider than it is long; if you draw in a headboard, there's too little space at the foot end to walk past comfortably.

The room above, the door there, you run into a wall.. If you have an architect, have them do it and just stay out of it for now.
