At knee wall 130, there will be a window for the children's room in the middle, but it is not very practical, or there will be a knee wall roof window.
Why does the kitchen have to be on the left side of the plan? Maybe your wife can try to explain that in words. I always find that helpful when I "have to" do something like this, because often I realize myself that my reasons are somehow pseudo or don't really fit.
I like to compare when there is already a better basis.

The kitchen in your variant with the dining table works just barely because the peninsula is only 60 cm deep. The entire area of the two doors to the open space with the area around the fireplace is mainly walkway space now.
With Kaho’s solution, one could still consider placing the fireplace more centrally, but then on the upper floor one would land in the bathroom. Since originally no landing stairs were planned (and also in the current design there is not enough space), Kaho’s 250 cm-long stair exit could also be shorter, and one would have some room with the door to children’s room 1, and the chimney shaft might possibly be behind the door there.
Kaho’s kitchen solution can also be quite well imagined with a 250 cm long table, but rotated and with a bench solution at the island.
Katja’s angled corner to the office could also still be removed or left to ensure the originally desired effect of "being involved." In your planning, the office could just as well have a door.

Definitely better .. the closet solution and sleeping, as you can get from the bed to the closet and then out. Also, all children’s rooms have the possibility to get a normal window, even without a dormer, bay window, etc.
What you should think about carefully is the wastewater routing in Katja’s bathroom. But with good planning, it should be possible to move this towards the dining room corner at the bottom left, and well insulated that is no problem in terms of noise.
