Look at the bedroom. Difficult without dimensions. According to the squares, you have 60 cm between the foot of the bed and the wall, even less on the side. If the bed has no frame, that's somewhat doable.
Wardrobes are mostly only 40 cm deep. That might be enough, but doesn't have to be.
I would miss a cabinet in the living room. Adjust it yourself. Everyone has something personal. Books, shoe collection, piano
The thing about the cabinet in the living room is true. We will probably need a wall somewhere to place one against. Thanks for the hint!
Isn’t there supposed to be a gable roof on top? Where is the 2m line?
The floor plans come from a house with 2 stories and a gable roof (knee wall height 247 cm, roof pitch 21). Something like that will probably be how our house will look as well. I don’t think we can avoid that.
The original exterior dimensions are 12.58 m x 8.83 m. That results in a living area of
190 sqm.
Maybe 2 full stories?
Give a dimension. Is one square 20 cm?? Otherwise it’s hard to classify.
Overall, I like the floor plan, depending on whether a square represents 20 cm, it will be quite tight in a few spots, especially for something that isn’t exactly small at 180 sqm.
Is there an attic?
Depending on how you go with the fittings, that "place" won’t be cheap, but 470k is also something. Especially with land prices of 70k EUR, it doesn’t seem to be the most expensive area in Germany.
See above. Yes, I would say that regarding the exterior dimensions a square should be 20 cm.
The building plot is very rural and not exactly in a metropolitan area, yes.
Yes, unfortunately, some things will be tight.
I quite like the floor plan, except for the kitchen. I wonder where the dishwasher and other appliances should go. But well, it’s only a plan.
It gets tight when you give the stairs a normal width and change some cabinets from 40 to 50 or 60 cm. Also, cabinets don’t stand right against the wall.
There is indeed a bottleneck around the bed in the bedroom. The bed is calculated with 220 cm length. A bedroom as a hallway is inconsiderate and should be avoided.
The south side bedroom will be uncomfortable with these windows (own experience with only half as much area, provided there are sills).
The children’s rooms don’t get much sun in winter, though.
I find the walk-in closet oppressive; there isn’t even space for a chair or a sports bag. The wardrobe meters aren’t generous either.
Built-in cabinets under the stairs feel confining.
50 cm for toilet and shower… 70 cm is already not much…
Using the washbasins in the bathrooms, you cast shadows on yourself.
But other than that, it’s great
Those are many good thoughts that we hadn’t had so far. We will bring all of that up tomorrow. Let’s see how the ideas of the planner from Fingerhaus look regarding this.
But why is the bedroom a hallway? The children are supposed to get their own shower/toilet…
