I would see an architect if I were you. Trying to improve a floor plan you’ve stolen from the internet together with a prefab house salesman usually won’t lead to a very good result. Fingerhaus is, by the way, more of an upper-class sector if you already find the equipment lacking...

We have been to various model house parks and looked at several houses there, then we gradually narrowed down our final selection. When the numbers finally came to the table, the choice was made by us.

On the topic here... we also visited Fingerhaus and had the Neo 211 planned. The offer is okay so far and the contact with the architect is very pleasant. However, like the original poster, I also have the impression that they want to close the deal as quickly as possible and therefore act rather fast. Right after the offer, we were suggested an appointment at the factory with dinner at the Italian restaurant, etc. Everything is moving too fast for me, and I need to slow down a bit.
However, the standard at Fingerhaus does not seem low to me at all, but impressions and expectations are probably different.

We were very interested in the company Griffner from Austria, we really liked their concept, but the price was significantly lower.

After that, the search slowly continued and eventually we came across Kern-Haus in Westerwald. After initial doubts about the DuoTherm construction method, among other things, the open play with prices convinced us. With Kern-Haus, we were able to look at all the used equipment elements from the very beginning; with other providers, this would have only been possible partially after signing the contract.

We looked at various Kern houses, conducted shell construction inspections, etc. Some call the DuoTherm construction method a "squeaky house", we will probably be able to say after moving in whether we made the right decision or not. The fact is, you definitely cannot just hammer a nail into the wall.
