Of course, taste-wise. I liked it in the show homes. However, suboptimal for a future stairlift...
There are countless possibilities for stairlifts; but this would only be one of the possible or necessary measures in old age/in illness that might become necessary at some point. I consider the widespread intention to mainly base age-appropriateness on stairlifts, door widths, etc., to be inappropriate unless there is a coherent concept aimed at this or that specific disability/weakness.
In my opinion, age-appropriate building should already begin with the choice of the location of the building site.
Viewed this way, you would certainly have to forgo many other things in your project or implement them accordingly, which currently might not make sense visually/pricewise.
Of course, it may be that exactly THAT case occurs and you want to use a stairlift. But countless other things can also happen that you should at least consider beforehand.
I hardly know anyone who has installed such a lift or could not do without it; usually it is other or several limitations simultaneously.
Therefore, I would not implement it in such a way if it meant having a stair shape in the house for life that I do not like or that blocks other options for me.
If such an emergency occurs, installing a stairlift should be the lesser problem.
