I don’t see any change let alone improvement?
1. I had the windows in the children's rooms enlarged. This should provide the children with enough light.
2. All windows on the upper floor have been equipped with fall protection.
3. We now have a front door again with a glass part on the right side.
4. I enlarged the window in the guest WC.
I would only change the bathroom / storage room if our budget becomes tight. I also did not adjust the floor-to-ceiling / terrace windows for now because, according to the builder, this would involve raising the clear room height. (2.07 m) None of us in the family are very tall.
What changes do you have in mind?
Before I would make any fixed plans, I would first do a detailed planning of the kitchen and bathroom. Later it will depend on a few centimeters somewhere or the windows might be awkwardly positioned. Your hallway still remains dark and your front door is also so low.
Best regards
Sabine
Kitchen and bathroom planning is still to come. Nothing is fixed yet, so we can still move or change everything.
My front door is low? How do you recognize that? Because of the 2.07 m? As mentioned above, I initially spoke out against raising the windows since, according to the developer, that would require raising the clear room height.
I agree that the hallway on the upper floor remains quite dark. I don’t currently have a really good solution for that either. At one point there was a strip of windows that brought more light into the upper floor, but since we want a closed staircase, the strip window solution is out for me. Alternatively, a horizontal window could be installed in the staircase area. The guest WC would also get a horizontal window then. That would bring more light into the upper floor hallway. What do you think? What do the others think?
