I am currently sitting in an 18sqm room that is located on the east side. (sanierter Altbau) The sun does not shine on the windows...

There are 2 windows installed that are pretty much right next to each other. Each window has 3 sections. Dimensions 1.77 x 0.93m. In total, a gross window area of 3.3m², including the frame. I think it is still bright enough in the room.

Yes, you did:

I said:

Telling the planner "play it again, Sam, but this time with wider windows" is a waste. A "new" plan is only worthwhile if the suggestions from the last round have been incorporated.

Is that clear enough and concrete enough after posts #196/198?

Where next to each other? Next to where you are sitting? Yes, wide windows bring more light into a room than tall ones.

Of course I have looked at them. Our children's rooms are very similar. Our floor-to-ceiling windows are 1.55x2.40. And when we close the blinds of the floor-to-ceiling windows, the rooms are quite dark. The architect wanted to leave out the floor-to-ceiling windows, and every time I am in my children's rooms, I tell myself that it was one of the best decisions when building the house.

Do you see the word "never" or "none" from me? That's why I didn't say that.

You often speak in riddles.

But I wrote in #181 that the bathroom and kitchen planning are still open, didn't I? I was already aware of the bathroom issue beforehand through kaho674.
Still, I have to say I like a large bathroom. If the bathroom planner can use the space well, why not?

You need to explain the issue with the legionella again. Is it only because of the pipe length?

The windows are pretty much right next to each other. My desk is by the window. The desks in the children's room are as well.

Such a double casement window also costs quite a bit. Are your children's rooms also on the west side? It's interesting that the architect wanted to leave out the double casement windows. My planner also always wants to tell me "That is enough window area." When you put it that way, it makes me think.
