Yes, why question it? Knee wall houses have a lot to offer. Maybe for some the living value of two stories is higher, but that's neither law nor priority in house construction. However, one meter is indeed a bit limited. I would go for 1.20 or 1.40 so that beds with headboards also fit well under the roof.

One has Gussek Haus, the other Town & Country, Viebrockhaus is similar to Gussek Haus, but what Hanse can do, I don't see with Heinz von Heiden.
Don't limit yourself too much with your role models. The house has nothing special from the outside.
Orient yourself a bit towards the BT, that will be cheaper. Then gladly go a size bigger or higher. The floor plan is certainly changeable.

because the thread starter sounded like they hadn’t thought much about knee wall houses or two full floors yet. The 1m knee wall is quite limiting, as you can see in the bathroom and the small shower next to the door.
Two full floors won’t be more expensive than a knee wall house with a large dormer either.

As already said: you should rather follow the developer's suggestions, i.e. standard house types - everything else can cause costs to skyrocket, especially if the developer has his own grid.
