KfW Funding Climate-Friendly Residential Building from March 2023

Hello everyone,
yesterday we received the information from Viehb. that there is no longer KfW funding 297 (neither of them) for a house with a basement.
Apparently, too much concrete (white tank) is used in the basement, and this can no longer be compensated with additional measures like extra solar panels, etc., compared to the previous regulation.

Yes, no fossil heat generators whatsoever. However, nobody has been able to answer me yet whether you are allowed to install a chimney flue and only connect a fireplace there after the funding period has expired.

Wow, that is really crazy. On the one hand refreshingly consistent but also frightening. There will surely be ways to make things look better for me, for example with recycled concrete, although then there could be problems again with the definition of a white tank.

I sometimes estimate the CO2 footprint of my 1000m³ enclosed space. Not so cool. The heat pump certainly won't make up for it in the coming decades. In hindsight, it seems all the more out of touch that gas heating systems with solar thermal were still subsidized.
