In his attachment in the middle. I don't know of any water level report for 297/298. But 750 million should be available, with 100-150k per housing unit we are talking about 5000-7500 housing units. That will be used up relatively quickly.

Does the funding actually depend on the amount of the loan, or only on the difference between the offered interest rates compared to those that would have to be paid on the market for the loan at market conditions?

I spoke directly with the KfW yesterday. According to their statement, the 750 million does not refer to the loan volume, but to the costs for the interest subsidy. So at least a factor of 4 compared to the aforementioned housing units.

That would be 25,000 - 30,000 housing units. Not much compared to the planned 400,000 apartments and realistically 250,000 built. I guess that will last about 3 months

The forecast for completions in 2024 is 214,000. And in January, the volume of loan approvals collapsed to half of the previous year's value. Are there really that many ready to start a construction project now?

I don’t think you have a misunderstanding there. That’s exactly what I’ve been saying all along. The funding programs are designed so that not everyone builds anymore. The political will is that more existing properties are renovated (see the new renovation obligation). After the years of building boom, in my opinion, the industry is facing a deep crisis. And unfortunately for us who want to build, we are just at the wrong place at the wrong time. By the way: A 40NH house with land for 600k will probably be difficult. Even if it is dimensioned that small.
