That will probably all concern concrete, as the "Lifecycle" is being considered. Balancing the amount of concrete in a basement shell with thick windows and eco walls is likely to be challenging.
As the question about a (mood) fireplace came up. Our energy consultant clarified this with the KfW, and NO heat generator using fossil or biomass fuel is allowed, even if the house is mainly heated by a geothermal heat pump. It would be possible to build the chimney but not to connect a stove, only after the deterioration period(?). Don’t hold me to it, I think he said something about 10 years.
According to our EB, yes. Is there actually anyone who has already decided to apply for the funding? We are still hesitating a bit... Our EB says he can't yet estimate how long the LCA calculation will take or if it's even realistically achievable and whether the funding pot still contains anything. It costs a lot of money again and possibly for nothing....

Why do you actually always get different answers from every manufacturer on such questions? If they don’t know how to build according to the funding programs 297 and 298, who then? The last statement I got from a general contractor on this was: "He didn’t know why that wouldn’t be possible."
And what about photovoltaic systems and battery storage? Do I also have to have that for the 297 program or only for the 298?
And what about photovoltaic systems and battery storage? Do I need to have that for the 297 program as well, or only for the 298?
It depends on how you build your climate-friendly residential building (without QNG). If you build with wood, you will probably get by without a photovoltaic system; if built solidly, you won’t. An ecological balance sheet is prepared for the house, which looks very bad for the solidly built house. Then a photovoltaic system is added and the calculation balances out again (without storage is also okay). At least that’s what my energy consultant said. They are currently calculating for me. In 1-2 weeks I will know more.
