Hey, :D why not create the new HBF fashion or the new ypg idea: take a fine notched trowel 30 cm wide and make patterns in squares, cross-straight-cross-straight, like a checkerboard... what did you want to plaster again, that you want to practice in the utility room?
Wanted to paint the whole house, am afraid of unevenness and thought that textured paint would be a good alternative. Now I will probably paint one wall in the utility room directly, apply textured paint to another, and wallpaper with painting fleece and paint the third. Sorry, but my wife forbids me from doing a checkerboard pattern.... ;)

That's how I started planning a year ago. Now that the shell is up, I’m already overwhelmed just by all the ceilings. The stairwell is the final straw. I had to clearly admit that I would never manage it - at least not nicely.
The market price for 156 sqm of living space seems to be 14k€ according to market research here. That hurts quite a bit. Through connections, I could also organize someone who has Ukrainian painters available. That would only be 8k€ for labor and I would have to provide the materials. I’m torn on what to do.
Don’t do that with the Ukrainians. You won’t get far with 14 lands, you have nothing in hand, no guarantee of proper work, only trouble. My son-in-law was just as smart, Polish crew, cheap, you can see it when you walk through the house. Really rushed. Karsten
