I also find the sofa area too narrow. Not even 3m is already little. What are the stair dimensions? They also seem very/too narrow to me. The dining table area is not that spacious either. Is it possible to extend the house maybe about 1m downwards to ease all this?

What would be a "good" width, 3.50 for example?

If I interpret the measurement correctly, the staircase is 1.92m wide. How wide are the steps then, 90cm?!

I measured my current stair steps, they are 98cm wide. Less is not so great.

What else do you notice about the upper floor? The children's rooms in the north don’t make me very happy.

How wide is your (desired) sofa? As long as you can cope with it being squeezed into the corner, that would be the minimum width. (Attention, the shell dimension must then be larger!) Our sofa, for example, stands in the room. There should be at least one meter (on one side) of space so that people can comfortably pass by.

If you swap the staircase and utility room, the rooms upstairs could be arranged the other way around, meaning the bedroom at the top of the plan and the children's room at the bottom of the plan. Is the kitchen already planned? I don't find it very appealing. If it can be smaller (without seating area and door), the rooms on the ground floor could perhaps be arranged a bit differently so that the living room becomes wider.

I quickly scribbled something. 1 square = 50cm. The living room and dining area are wider, the staircase can even be a bit wider. The utility room could also be made accessible from the kitchen. The upper floor can be mirrored due to the stair position.

It is too narrow for the current sofa and the sofa is quite new and is supposed to be kept. That is definitely too narrow..

No, the kitchen is not planned!

We were at the model house park the day before yesterday and contrary to our previous assumption that the kitchen absolutely had to be half closed, we liked the open kitchen with adjoining dining area and without any additional chairs and benches. So the kitchen can also be open
