Why do you want only a strip of light instead of as much daylight as possible in the main working room of the house, namely the kitchen?
What else is supposed to happen in the large master bedroom? I would either place the bed on the outer wall at the top of the plan or on the left side of the plan and place the windows behind the nightstands on the left and right, or position the passage from the dressing room at the foot end of the bed.
Overall, however, the planning is not quite right yet.
I didn’t mean a strip of light and then couldn’t edit the post anymore. There will be a 2.40 m window there.
The wall at the top of the plan is directly on the street; we didn’t want the bed there. We had thought of it as it is currently, or on the wall of the dressing room. True, the access to the bedroom can then also be at the other end.
In the bedroom, there should also be a makeup table + my Kallax with my books.
Honestly: after having seen #82 in the morning and then #90 in the evening, all I thought was: "the woman draws drunk at night." Placing a dressing room in a corner, just roughly shifting everything around, all respect to the professionals
Apparently, she shifts the room sizes without thinking. Does she do that according to your specifications, or does she also think for herself sometimes, e.g., kids’ rooms with a10 and 15 sqm… no words.
I still don’t understand the staircase: why is the starting step so incredibly long that it has to be covered by four steps? Is that even possible? I would make the other leg as big as possible so that there can still be a storage room underneath?!
Basically, you should plan at least 60 cm depth for the wardrobe. The island is a joke: 1.20, if you’re being generous.
But overall it’s getting better.
However: having the head of the bed directly at the entrance in the bedroom and having to walk along two windows to get to the shower, I would change that immediately, bathroom furnishing not later.
Expect that you will probably only get a nicely furnished bedroom if you are flexible with the window arrangement. If necessary, I would give up symmetry between the bathroom and bedroom.
Those were desperate attempts to plan as many floor plans as possible in a very short time, with the thought of somehow finding the 150% floor plan! Very very very much harder than expected!
The island is drawn at 140 x 100, still too small? The dining table is 2 m.
In the bathroom, we would like the built-in shower; how else could I place it so that it’s not directly at the entrance door?
I would prefer only one window as well, but our concerns were whether it would be too dark. And because the windows are not floor-to-ceiling and should have frosted glass/or similar, I thought that was okay. Would you have an idea how to solve that better?
Maybe only one large window on the north side?
There should also be a storage room under the stairs; she probably forgot that. I would tell her that next time.
My husband placed the bed like that. It may sound like “nonsense” to some, but he sleeps better with his head facing east..
Edit: I will ask again about the staircase!!
