More like resignation.. I’m definitely attached to my floor plan, which is similar to Shiny’s. I kept trying to redraw the floor plans from Zaba and Tolentino.

What don't you like about my floor plan? It's really not bad and can surely be adjusted a bit more. For example, we removed the walk-in closet in our place. We simply took down a wall. If needed, you can put up a drywall and bam, you have a walk-in closet again before going into the bedroom. You didn't want an office anymore either. We stayed square without a bay window. A bay window would be expensive. I'd rather have a few more square meters instead. The house can certainly be made smaller. Instead of a landing staircase, a U-shaped staircase also works. That way, you can get into the rooms upstairs more easily.
