Floor plan optimization single-family house approx. 150 sqm - on a small plot

The upstairs hallway is really small... I'm happy about our large hallway (about 15 m²) including stairs... you can even put something there and it doesn't just look like a room where doors lead off... and do you really need this separate laundry room with dryer/washing machine upstairs? That also fits in the utility room

We don't really need the extra room in that sense, but the idea is that the laundry happens upstairs and is constantly carried up and down. This way everything could practically be stored where it is generated.

Without that part, the bathroom would also be way too big for me.

No, unfortunately we don't. We're starting again from scratch.

It is the "excitement" that often makes you let go of the "oh no, that works too" idea. In the end, you were right with your initial opinion; why should I discuss a floor plan where things are missing that we would like to have. We parted on good terms with the architect. She doesn't dare to address things because she wants to please the client in every way. On Friday, we have another appointment with our "chosen" general contractor, and the floor plan is now supposed to be created again there.
