The first drawing I submitted for discussion was from the general contractor, and I also mentioned during the conversation that it does not have to be a square. Yesterday he sent me an additional floor plan unsolicited. Nice of them..

That's nice, honestly I didn't expect that..

But, he then said something like "you can just decide between the two".. hmm..

would go straight into my trash bin
If you want to save costs, then do without the door from the carport to the utility room.
Your house is not big, so you get from the car to the house quickly.
Besides, I would not make the multi-utility introduction on the house front, but on the carport side.
No matter whether you make a house connection box or a pillar. It is simply ugly in the front/entrance area.

I wrote THAT about it. It’s been a while

or...

You already mentioned that. But constantly defending a service provider for something that costs nearly €300,000 is the wrong way. When you compare the first draft to the last, basically very little has changed. Except for slightly enlarging the floor area by a few centimeters or shifting the non-load-bearing walls a bit within the same grid, you can still manage that yourself with a pencil on copies.
In the end, YOU have to know if this is what you want to build. To me, as a service, it is absolutely not sufficient.

I did not deliberately overlook your post about this

I don’t want to defend them, just trying to explain some of the background.

I have now tried to draw a rectangular house, I don't even remember which one, but some prefab house served as a basis. I then changed the rooms a bit.

Something different for our standards

The exterior dimensions should then be 10.60 x 9.40.

I liked the separated living/dining area
