After a long back and forth, the building permit was finally granted and it's getting started. Markings have been set and next week the excavator and concrete for the concrete slab will arrive. I am very worried about the temperatures that drop below zero at night... is it allowed to build in such temperatures? The site manager says it's not a problem, they mix something into the concrete?

In cold weather, the concrete is made with warm water and heated gravel, as well as more cement and possibly additional additives. Depending on the temperature, it is also covered. Of course, this all has its limits, but in normal cold weather, there is no need to worry.
