I already mentioned that for young children, people often like to use the Tripp Trapp chairs. And I don't quite understand why one plans for a large table and then wants to squeeze in a small table 4 meters away that is also somewhat in the way. Evelin actually posted a very practical kitchen example in , where you could separate the kitchen from the dining area with a sliding door, and the Tripp Trapps fit perfectly right there. And, you would have the 240 cm cabinet in the hallway for shoes and coats, and you can use the storage room for all the things you mentioned yourself, e.g. an additional freezer, etc. I personally always have about 2 to 3 different seasonal jackets, scarves, etc. hanging in my coatroom, which I choose according to the need. For children, you might have a bit more hanging there, like play pants, wind and rain gear for daycare, the regular jacket, etc.

Katja bedroom suggestion .. my recommendation would be a bed with 180 cm mattress width, then the aisles on the right and left should still be good, also for changing bed linen etc.

And pay attention to the plan bottom that about 70 cm depth is available below the door. Pax wardrobes are, for example, 66 cm deep with sliding doors.

Here, however, the office becomes very small, even smaller than it already is in my plan. Then I want to remove the window where you have now placed the bed and not put the bed by the window. A large area will then arise that will be unused, which is not practical. If we want to have children, we want to be able to place a bed there, and there is also no space for a dresser/to put on makeup. So this version doesn’t work for me. I’ll send you another variant that the architect sent me,... I want to swap bed and wardrobe, because I find it nicer to be able to look at the bed and the wardrobe when you come in... that would be possible, with the wardrobe then only up to 250 cm, which is no problem either, the only catch is the office room door was very narrow.

Then have the actual clear width of this office door calculated. Not the rough opening. And then check if you can still get a cabinet, table, etc. in there.

Wouldn't it perhaps also be a sensible idea to plan the studio area in the attic as the parents' bedroom and to design the three rooms on the upper floor roughly equal in size and basically designate it as the children's floor?

Yes, that’s true, but I still find it strange. She had drawn it in. The narrowest door you can have for that would be 60cm wide or 63... I don’t remember exactly, that would be the WC door in my apartment. Honestly, I’ve never noticed that the door in the WC is so narrow, but somehow I still don’t want that for an office. But with the narrow door, everything is as I would like it, only the door is narrow. There is currently an alternative… wait, I’ll send it to you.

Although the variant is similar when you open the door inward, from someone who had already drawn it for me... with the curve... where I should be ready at the construction site when it’s done so that it fits.

I don’t want to change the layout of the rooms, that it becomes the master bedroom, etc. I’m looking for an optimal solution regarding the door...

Uh, no. The office has actually gotten bigger.

Looks like autocorrect kicked in here. I can't quite follow the gibberish.

Okay, I got that. :)

Ah, the version with the dwarf door. Probably 66 cm wide – she probably preferred not to mention it. Understandable. ;)

Well, if the rooms are not to be changed, maybe the staircase could be adjusted. It’s only about one step at the stair exit, I guess. The question is whether it can be branched off somewhere else. But I have the feeling that will be even more difficult...
