I already mentioned that for young children, people often like to use the Tripp Trapp chairs. And I don't quite understand why one plans for a large table and then wants to squeeze in a small table 4 meters away that is also somewhat in the way. Evelin actually posted a very practical kitchen example in , where you could separate the kitchen from the dining area with a sliding door, and the Tripp Trapps fit perfectly right there. And, you would have the 240 cm cabinet in the hallway for shoes and coats, and you can use the storage room for all the things you mentioned yourself, e.g. an additional freezer, etc. I personally always have about 2 to 3 different seasonal jackets, scarves, etc. hanging in my coatroom, which I choose according to the need. For children, you might have a bit more hanging there, like play pants, wind and rain gear for daycare, the regular jacket, etc.because a small dining table should still go in there. For everyday use, I want to eat in the kitchen with the children and my husband,... I find that practical!
