You don't need 272 cm (287 - 15 cm) ceiling height in the attic. As already said, 245 or so is enough. So you lower the attic further and thus have more height at the top. Specifically: with 245 cm ceiling height, you have 27 cm more in the attic - so 90 cm instead of 63 cm.

If I remember correctly, you are a Hildmann buyer. I recall someone from the other usual suspects (Weisenburgerwernerwengerter) mentioning here in a thread that there is the option to lower the ceiling between the upper floor and the attic. Whether your provider would do that too, I don't know right now - but I don't see the effort and risk of special treatment as worth the gain here. As a loyal reader, you should have already heeded my warnings here and on bauen-jetzt (the pilot has changed the domain) about undertaking significant customizing beyond a cat flap on developer properties. Just don't do that. The heating circuit distributor is the heart of the heating pipe "circuit diagram" and thus the last place where you should have ambitions to deviate from the house concept. Central and easily accessible "does no harm," you'll only open the "lid" every once in a blue moon once the system is properly calibrated. It couldn't be more discreet anywhere else. Even in 11antengelb it won't seriously stand out there.

I don't understand the ceiling height issue, why the architect tells me that it can't be made lower.
