Thank you first of all for all your thoughts! I'm a bit glad that not everyone finds it utterly terrible ;-)
I think we subconsciously planned the rooms more generously, which we currently find way too cramped in the apartment (namely the bathroom and the hallway). And we have 2 girls who will eventually enter puberty, but we still didn't want an extra children's bathroom. Therefore, the shower on the ground floor as a backup (which I could personally do without, but maybe we would regret it with the girls at some point). Maybe that's where the urge for this size comes from...
A bit difficult in the planning is that we haven't received exact measurements of the rooms yet (unless we somehow measure everything ourselves). The bed niches in the children's rooms would alternatively be used for the wardrobes, if the depth fits.
The office is my husband's home office space. 10 sqm is enough for him; currently, he only has a niche spot in the apartment. He's basically not spoiled. The piano is definitely supposed to go into the living room. Actually.

I have to leave some praise.
You see a lot of floor plans in the building forum and I find this one immediately very successful and appealing.
What I would reconsider: The bed niches in the children's rooms - will you still be able to furnish the rooms satisfactorily when the children are at an age that they want a wider bed? Presumably, you would then have to use these niches for wardrobes?
The office is relatively small. It depends on how frequently you want to use it and whether it bothers you. With a piano, I find it a bit cramped.
