Possibly claims under copyright law can only be asserted by an architect if the building is particularly original, individual and innovative. Lawyers refer to this in connection with a personal intellectual creation. Whether a building meets the necessary criteria is to be examined in each individual case.

In this case, “prestigious public buildings” or single-family homes with particularly designed elements such as artistically elaborate dormers, entrances, etc. are meant.
In this respect, you can hand-sign your design yourself or, as others do here, trace it in homebyme or another software. This way you do no harm and are legally protected.
