I think I even read in this forum that you should ideally not plan according to the old furniture. However, for example, we are also taking our refrigerator with us into the house; all the other furniture fits well by chance because the furniture is not too big. A sofa purchased later, about 3m long, can also extend somewhat over the window; of course, that’s not ideal but from my point of view tolerable. Unfortunately, you then can’t use the terrace door in the living room. I find the dining area much better without the glass door. I would move the door to the guest WC near the wardrobe back to its “old” position.

Otherwise, I find your floor plan very successful. :)

@ALL To come back to the topic of not sharing floor plans once again. As you can see, one thing or another may still not be perfectly planned. For that reason alone, I would never let myself be denied the ability to share my floor plans.

When it comes to stairs, it is not about the rough construction height of the room, but always about the floor-to-floor height, that is from rough construction level EG to rough construction level OG. Because that is the height that must be overcome.

A table depth of 100 cm is counterproductive in your situation, as it further restricts the space at the planned table position.

Why shouldn't you plan based on "old" furniture? Not everyone in their rental place only has Ikea shelves worth 200 EUR. And especially in the current situation, hardly any builder will have the money to throw all their old furniture away and have everything custom-made by a carpenter for 50,000 EUR...

It certainly also depends on the individual case, I wanted to avoid carrying any legacy issues into the house layout as much as possible. Planning should actually always be done according to needs and not according to the current furniture.

How do I find out how high the story height will then be?

The thing with the table depth is correct; I had hoped that 40 cm less length would bring the decisive advantage. :) The variant without the glass door should therefore only be marginally better since it does not change the depth?

You are the kitchen professional here. Does the kitchen studio know how wide the wall must be at minimum for 6x60 cabinets, so that I can refer to that with the architect? We also have a first appointment there the following week.

: Our current couch is even smaller. I already looked up one in the Muster ring catalog with the right dimensions that I could imagine. But basically, I’m not a fan of huge lounge landscapes.

Well, it is certainly not necessary to include every old Ivar shelf or something like that in the planning.

But if you already have a really great dining table or certain good cabinets, then you will want to continue using them. And that should be explicitly planned. So go through the existing items and plan everything with a "reuse checkmark" accordingly.
