I also gave it a try .. and reduced the house from the current interior dimensions 13.5x10.2 to interior dimensions 12.2x10 m.
I don’t know how you interpret a closed kitchen. I now have basically 2 passages into the kitchen, which could optionally be closed with glass sliding doors or something similar. In any case, the work area is completely out of sight from the living area.
Seating and large sinks/work island combined in the kitchen. A fixed bench can then be built into the partition wall. This also has the advantage that you can easily bake Christmas cookies with children on the island half. As long as they are still small, they can kneel on the bench. Otherwise, plenty of space for kitchen work, a separate storage area for a coffee machine or similar in the tall cabinet wall. For invitations, you could even arrange a cold-warm buffet on the cooktop line and everyone can comfortably walk past on one side and then back to the dining table on the other side.
The stairs are positioned so that the view from the living/dining area is more on the ascending staircase than on the staircase leading to the basement.
Study also reduced with a long wall for furniture. I added a guest bed and accordingly gave the guest bathroom a small shower.
Upstairs basically children on the left, parents on the right. Washing machine etc. integrated into the children’s bathroom in a niche that can also be closed with a sliding door system or similar.
Whether a balcony will be added later... Generally to be understood as a suggestion and fundamentally oriented quite closely to the design posted here.
