Pure white, of course.
Above the doors (50cm below the ceiling) you can put decorations. Straw carpet on the floor, and the vacation is ready :D

I assume they still work. But still, you are right: optimal conditions, then it also works with less financial resources.

We have to be very careful with money, we weren't so lucky with our house construction.

And this is calculated for just two adults. For a family, you can save more but also have higher expenses.
In return, we have a house and can keep it:

Say hello to your wife from me, Alessandro offers Striplac, costs 70 euros as a set and she can do her nails herself forever.
And that’s the first item saved, almost 600 euros more a year for the house. Yay.

Maybe you are already implementing saving tips, that would be great.
I notice among acquaintances that people tend to smile indulgently and many think that it’s not worth it for small amounts of cents. But that’s not true. Nobody even bothers to pick up an empty drink can by the roadside.
I have calculated that I save an additional 1200 euros per year by comparing prices versus buying at regular price.

(I buy detergent almost only during free testing promotions. The promotions happen all the time.

Groceries when they are on sale and in quantities that last until the next offer. Eventually, you know all the prices by heart. Lidl has lots of products at 50% off. Then it’s just not Rostbratwurst but Wiener sausages this week. Just lentils with spaetzle again.

Only buy groceries that are actually used and not this and that so the failed purchases just rot in the freezer.
Diapers only in bulk packs, cashback and so on.

Every year compare insurance and contracts with Check24.
Only bake bread and rolls yourself.
Children’s vehicles, clothes for children only second hand.)

Fingers crossed that the financing works out for you.

:D I also had my own thoughts about it. I would be too stingy for this permanent monthly expense. I use Essie and everything is fine. Today I sold my UV lamp on eBay. Gardening ruins nails... Unfortunately, I have to get highlights done every 2-3 months at the hairdresser, that costs money. Contact lenses, and the daily grind – the older you get, the more you use eye cream and hyaluronic acid, Q10, and creams, all naturally and organically of course... but no wife ever tells her husband that ;)

Dude, definitely buy immediately. The price of the house is almost a gift to you. The land alone is certainly worth at least 150 to 250k. That leaves only 200k for the house. With 200k, you can hardly build the shell plus basement and put a roof on it in Bavaria anymore. A 20-year-old house is top. Oil heating is also top. It will easily run for another 20 years with low operating costs.

The bathroom is awful. But with some personal effort and a 10k budget, you can work some real magic there. No problem at all.

Financially, you’re doing yourselves a big favor in the medium term. Definitely buy.

My opinion: the house will sell immediately for 550k without any problems through a realtor.

Now don't even give anyone an idea. But as far as the house price is concerned, you're right, that's super cheap. Friends' children bought a house in Eching near Munich from the 60s that needed complete renovation for 700,000 and that was already a bargain.
