That works
It looks much clearer and more sensible.
However, I would now simply push the tub forward a bit and behind it partly build a wall, additionally build in the tub with a pedestal of the same height. That always looks very elegant.
I would also discuss with the architect whether the tub should be set into the screed, not on top of it. That way you gain additional height. She should then show you a cross-section of that.
Furthermore, I would also mirror WC/shower (toilet at the top of the plan, shower at the bottom of the plan).
If the washing machine/dryer is upstairs, then think about a thicker wall there towards the children's room. Possibly place the washing machine/dryer against the bedroom wall.
