Thank you, that is very kind... I will take it with me... although I personally don’t find it "nicer/better"... the upper living room area is completely oversized... and the toilet has no window... the way to the kitchen and pantry is EVEN further... and the lower area by the entrance "doesn't get any air"... However, that is again a matter of opinion...

But maybe if I cooperate with the architect, I can come up with the "perfect" solution when we still "play" with the stairs.

At this point, I primarily did not move it for proof reasons, but deliberately left it relative to the top left corner of the house in the original position. It does not have to stay there, but I only wanted to show that the floor plan also works with the original staircase in the original place (the other house dimensions do not prevent that).

Here you go, then we make the path shorter:

We once had it like this in a rental apartment: part of the pantry directly on the north wall, with ventilation openings; then the passage to the kitchen, and then opposite the chamber for the other supplies (drinks, pasta, canned goods – just what tolerates a normal room climate) and the brooms.

The bathroom without a window: well – if you deprive a freestanding house originally having a whole window side of one entire window side, and in the balance only the guest bathroom actually loses its window, I would say that’s "a good outcome."

The battle cannot be won with fewer sacrifices than the bathroom window. Four walls with windows, if you only have three, that’s not possible. With squaring the circle, the ratio would be slightly more “favorable” (4 : 3.14), and it still doesn’t work

I have several friends with very fine noses who manage perfectly well with their interior guest bathrooms with pipe ventilation. You can also read the kicker under electric light.

I am slowly losing track here, but if laundry is done on the upper floor, then the freezer room can be swapped with the WC - the technical room does not need a window, the WC will get one that way

Best regards in brief
