The sketch was unfortunately rotated.

Why is it better that she doesn’t understand it? ? You can also overestimate that the tub is fully over 2 meters tall. More important are the sink, toilet, and shower!!! You have to make compromises if you still want to move around in the bathroom. If the front edge of the tub is at 2 meters and a skylight provides even more height, it is definitely better than a 1960s setup.

Best regards in short

From a dormer – which in my opinion is not necessary for the lighting – for the bathroom, I do not yet see the avoidance of a full floor endangered (as mentioned, I have not recalculated it, the full floor definition also varies by state).

Because I am aiming for the tub to be out of the u2m area.

When getting up from the tub, twisting the spine as a defensive posture to avoid hitting the head can chronically lead to an orthopedic specialist. With washing machines and dryers – assuming front loaders – you bend/lean down anyway, so the full standing height is less missing.

The latter does no harm. Complaining would make us too late, but it should still be worth taking a look. Have you already shown anything in the house pictures thread?

You convinced me and my wife agrees. So here are a few pictures and the floor plans from us.

Yes, we decided on the second dormer... I also don't find a skylight useful there... how would one clean it... I think there will always be a door open somewhere... or I am considering putting a glass element in the door to the storage room.
