Zoning is something modern. In the past, you ate in the kitchen and listened to the radio play on the public radio in the parlor, if you were better off, there was a separate dining room. With Vertigo. Today everything has to be one big hall with a cooking zone, eating zone, and TV watching zone, that's just how it is. Zones instead of rooms. Karsten

Be glad that you are getting responses. Or why did you post your designs? So that no feedback or only praise comes?

Unfortunately, back then I hardly received any good constructive comments on my floor plan (let alone a user who would have made an effort to draw a few sketches for me)... we live very well as two, and I still basically like ours, but crucially I should have been advised to plan the bedroom on the ground floor right away and move the guest and office rooms upstairs. That would be consistent. Now a change is planned at some point, but the office is not quite sufficient for a bedroom with a wardrobe.

Regards, Yvonne

Life has just changed a bit. The best parties took place in the kitchen and at some point you just get too old for standing around and uncomfortable chairs. Now you just need a reason to put the sofa in the kitchen.

Me too. I hadn’t noticed that about the bedroom. But the plot is really difficult for us, so I can’t shift any floors. I also added a section of the plot again. But yes, I would have liked praise as well

You’re right about that... I was very depressed... Now I have moved everything... Kitchen "right" at the top... Dining table in the bay window... Living room at the double wall... different staircase... Now at the entrance... and and and... ten different attempts... the architect is "slightly sour".. and drawing the new version will now take until sometime next week.. I haven’t told her anything about this...
