Lift the washing machine

It's all well and good. But it doesn't always work. As I said, the washing machine is in the corner and can only get out by lifting it out of the corner. It would need to be two strong men, one could stand in front, the second carefully in the bathtub. Let's see how that will work when the move is coming up.

If the towel radiator is electric, I would remove it. It's just a handful of screws. But if it is water-fed, I would leave it.

In our case, it's exactly 3 screws, anyone should be able to manage that, otherwise they'll have a massive problem later in their own house if they can't loosen 3 screws themselves... In general, though, the washing machine should be able to be lifted out over the tub with two people.

If there is enough space, disassemble the lid of the washing machine (screws usually only at the back, front hooked) and then remove the visible weight plates made of cast iron or concrete. This greatly facilitates handling.

If they haven't moved already, they will move today......

Typical forum problem - the questioner doesn't get a useful answer but also doesn't report back with the finally chosen solution. Further answers are then paradoxically unwanted again.

Since my brother and I wanted to do the move together, I told him about the problem with the washing machine about 6 weeks before the move. We both go to fitness studios and then agreed to intensely train biceps and deadlifts for strength over the next 6 weeks.

We then managed, on the first attempt, to lift the machine together, one person on the side of the tub, and the other at the front.
