Definitely, the area with the bay window is too narrow if dining and guest are also to be placed on the side. For a dining area, at least 3 meters in width are required, the guest room follows from the width... The kitchen next to the hallway is again very narrow... I think with some ideas one can definitely become quite fond of it.

Here again are the floor plans of the identical semi-detached houses that are currently being built near us - they are indeed smaller in terms of area, but that should not present a problem to implement sensibly on a larger area.

The staircase in an "L" shape seems to me to be a solution worth adopting.

however, I personally do not see the kitchen on two exterior walls!

But a decent sofa won't fit in there either - the access to the west garden is seen in the kitchen/dining area.

But I also have another one, because EV can't come to terms with the quarter-turn staircase (although I think the architect is creating a budget version of a staircase on which it's hardly possible to properly carry a cabinet upstairs (unless it's still packed in IKEA boxes )
